      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A study describes the spatial structure of low amplitude oscillations, known as seiches, in the lagoons of several atolls in the French Polynesia this time.       <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dear user,</p><p>The CFOSAT Level-2 SWIM product in version 7.1 has been updated with a significant evolution: the extension of the slope spectrum range from 500 meters to 1112 meters. This improvement aims to enhance the product's accuracy and representativeness. For more detailed information, please refer to the Release Note: <a class="x_external-link" href="t3://file?uid=78473" title="https://www.aviso.altimetry.fr/fileadmin/documents/missions/CFOSAT/CFOSAT_AWWAIS_V7.1_ReleaseNote.pdf">CFOSAT AWWAIS 7.1 main evolutions</a>.</p><p><strong>Key Changes and Improvements:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Slope Spectrum Extension:</strong> The slope spectrum has been extended from 500 meters to 1112 meters. However, parasitic peaks at wavelengths beyond 800 meters have been identified, impacting the detection performance of partitions.</li><li><strong>Detection Limit Adjustment:</strong> To address this issue, the detection limit for partitions has been set to 800 meters. This adjustment reduces artificial rebounds observed around 400–450 meters, leading to a more accurate distribution.</li><li><strong>High Correspondence Between Datasets:</strong> The matching between the old dataset (22.5–500 meters) and the new dataset (22.5–1112 meters) shows a high correspondence, particularly for partitions 1 and 2, with over 90% matching.</li></ul>]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Le satellite Jason-3 a été lancé il y a maintenant 10 ans depuis la base de Vandenberg (Californie, USA), prenant le relais de Jason-2, lui-même en vol depuis 2008.<br>Depuis, il a été relayé par Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich, et très récemment Sentinel-6B (encore en phase de calibration), permettant ainsi de continuer la série ininterrompue de mesures débutée avec Topex/Poséidon.<br>Le satellite fonctionne toujours très bien, mais il est depuis l'été 2025 sur une orbite légèrement différente (décalée de 2 km), permettant des mesures dites "géodésiques".&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p>]]></content:encoded>
