Dynamic Atmospheric Correction using ERA5
Types of dataset: auxiliary products
Contents: Available on the period 01/02/1992 – 31/12/2022, hourly files; grid is a regular grid (0.125°x0.125°)
DOI: 10.24400/527896/a01-2025.006 - more metadata
Use: coastal oceanography, operational oceanography, ocean circulation, tide studies.
Description: DAC-ERA5 is based on a TUGO simulation forced by ERA5 meteorological reanalysis. DAC-ERA5 product is a combination between TUGO HR barotropic model output (high frequencies) and the Inverted Barometer correction (IB, low frequencies). The cutoff period used to separate high and low frequencies is 20 days.
