SARAL/AltiKa satellite encountered since 3rd of February 2019 some issues affecting the nadir pointing accuracy
ISRO Operational Team in charge of the platform is doing investigations and tests in order to fix the issues and to recover a nominal mission as soon as possible. As a consequence, the availability and quality of products can be degraded from time to time.
Before using the data, Users are warned to remove any ocean data with âoff_nadir_angle_wfâ over 0.09 deg²; otherwise standard quality flags may be used
