08.04.2013 [Jason-2] Restart of core mission
Friday 5th April, the POSEIDON3 altimeter, the AMR radiometer and precise GPS have been switched on; allowing the mission to restart nominally. [details]
05.04.2013 [Jason-2] Restart expected by Friday April 5th
All the recovery operations are going smoothly and without any trouble. On 5th April, Jason-2 will be back in nominal mode and the core payload switch on will be performed.[details]

The recovery procedure has been optimized and the current schedule foresee to turn on the Jason-2 payload core science instruments (POSEIDON3, AMR, GPSP) on Friday, 5 April.[details]
