CFOSAT SWIM L2P BOX June 2024 reprocessing
The complete reprocessing of the CFOSAT SWIM L2P BOX off Nadir product has been done in June 2024.
All the files from 2019/04/25 to 2024/06/06 have been delivered again on the AVISO dissemination services and the users can download the files again. The SWIM L2P SWH Off nadir product handbook has been updated.
- The complete time series is now in version "op06" as described in the CFOSAT product evolutions.
- An additional step has been added to the processing in order to improve the signal to noise ratio of long swell wavelengths. The filtering applied enables to remove the so called parasitic peaks. The figure below illustrates the benefit of this reprocessing. Both product and version are now homogeneous with the following global attributes in the files:
- product_version = "1.3"
- software_version = "production_l2p: 2.7.1"
- oper_version = "OP06"
